Mr.Delivery and TAKEALOT.com deliver on speedy delivery promise with branded delivery motorcycles

In an attempt to highlight its new faster delivery service online store, TAKEALOT.com in partnership with Mr. Delivery subsidiary, Mr. Delivery Express, has recently branded fifty Revolution Gyro motorcycles. The branding exercise forms part of new partnership between Mr. Delivery Express and TAKEALOT.com, aimed at providing online customers with speedier delivery and a wider service.

Branded by transit media and vehicle branding specialist, Graffiti, the eye-catching motorcycles display both the TAKEALOT.com and Mr. Delivery branding. This is in order to generate public awareness surrounding TAKEALOT.com’s new speedier and more-efficient service as a result of the recent collaboration with Mr. Delivery Express. Currently the bikes can be found on the streets of Cape Town and surrounding areas with more vehicles making their way onto Johannesburg’s roads in the upcoming weeks.

Commenting on the newly-branded motorcycle fleet, Karla Levick, TAKEALOT.com GM Marketing says, “It was important for TAKEALOT.com to alert our customers to the fact that, as a result of our partnership with Mr. Delivery Express, we now offer a speedier delivery service. Branding the motorcycle fleet afforded us the opportunity to obtain brand exposure on a medium that is both mobile and highly visible on the busy city roads. The very unique nature of these motorcycles makes them hard-to-miss and the eye-catching nature of the branding further serves to get our message across.”

Graffiti Director Gavin Schlaphoff adds, “By offering customers it’s new speedier delivery service, TAKEALOT.com has shown itself to be a forward-thinking online retailer. In utilising the actual delivery vehicles on which to advertise this new service, they are one step ahead of the competition again, ensuring their brand gets a great deal of attention in multiple venues throughout the day. These attention-grabbing branded motorcycles are likely to generate a great deal of interest and excitement wherever they go!”

Elaborating on the decision to go with Graffiti’s branding services, Levick says, “It was important for us to ensure that the branding of these motorcycles was done in the most effective and professional manner possible in order to maintain the integrity of both brands. In addition to this, we needed to obtain the best quality materials to guarantee that the branding on the vehicles is able to withstand the varying weather conditions to which they’ll be exposed each day. Graffiti made certain that we were covered on both these aspects and will be able to do so for us on a national basis in the months to come as we take this offering to other major city centres around the country.

The branded motorcycle fleet took to the streets amidst a great deal of fun and fanfare at a bike rally that formed the official launch of the TAKEALOT.com/Mr. Delivery Express partnership in Cape Town last month. “The bikes stirred up a great deal of interest and comment– they certainly did their job in getting noticed!” ends Levick.
