Transit Media specialist, Graffiti, was commissioned by Virgin Atlantic Airways Marketing Manager, Caren Parkinson to create the Mini Cabs as part of the airline's broader outdoor communications campaign aimed at conveying Virgin's 25-year milestone and directing customers to its website where celebratory birthday specials can be found.
Graffiti Director Natalie Cloete explains that the custom-branded Mini Cabs are an effective and complementary way to promote another mode of transport such as an airline: “The Virgin Atlantic Mini Cabs are perfectly suited to attracting the attention of prospective international travelers both through their bold, eye-catching nature and through the fact that the vehicles are generally to be found around airports and hotels and other tourist locations.”
