Created by hippo.co.za’s agencies, Upstream Advertising and Human Kind, and implemented by vehicle branding experts, Graffiti, the three eye-catching minicabs each feature a different creative execution focused on the hippo finding quotes in a different situation.
In addition, to tie in with the theme of the constantly travelling hippo, the brand has chosen to run a competition on one of the Cape Town cabs in which the public is encouraged to send an SMS and report where they spotted the hippo competition cab.

The hippo will be travelling on the roads of Cape Town and Durban for a three-month period until December. During this time, road users who spot the competition cab in Cape Town can SMS the number advertised on the vehicle and stand in line to win R5000.00.
