PinkDrive is a mobile breast cancer project that brings breast cancer screening and education to South African women through two bright pink, fully-equipped mobile breast care units. Currently the units provide mammography and testing services to six provincial hospitals in Gauteng that have no oncology facilities.
Through its sponsorship commitment, Graffiti has redesigned and rebranded the two vehicles and, to ensure aerial exposure for the brand, two giant, removable, rooftop banners were also created.
Commenting on the decision to support PinkDrive, Graffiti Managing Director, John Rice says, "PinkDrive is such a fantastic initiative - they really are making a difference to so many women. Graffiti is good at branding vehicle and if doing just that can help these amazing people to assist thousands of others, then we're happy to help out. Our commitment is a very small part of a much greater endeavour and we're proud to be associated with something so worthy."
PinkDrive Director, Noelene Kotschan, says, "Our bright pink vehicles generate a great deal of awareness and interest wherever we go and this serves to help us educate and help those in need. The new aerial banners are also going to be incredibly useful for events such as the upcoming Comrades Marathon where we can capitalise on the aerial exposure."
