Graffiti gets Caltex ad campaign on the move with new Techron D branded cabs
As part of a nationwide advertising campaign heralding the launch of new Caltex Diesel with TechronŽ D, the petroleum giant has recently livened up the streets of Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg with 17 branded Cabs and Minicabs, all of which have been expertly crafted by vehicle branding specialist, Graffiti.

The new branded vehicles form part of a large-scale communications campaign aimed at generating awareness surrounding the launch of Caltex's newest diesel product: Diesel with Techron D, a top quality, multifunctional fuel specially formulated to maintain fuel injector cleanliness and ensure that diesel vehicle engines operate at optimum performance. The mobile media campaign is backed by extensive outdoor, TV and print media advertising all directed at the brand's predominantly male target audience.
Comments Caltex Lead Area Category Manager, Geraldine McConnach, “We first utilised Graffiti's branded vehicles for the launch of our Caltex Havoline with Deposit Shield lubricants in 2008, and the decision to go ahead with yet another mobile advertising campaign is largely influenced by the success of that initial campaign. The branded vehicles work as a great complementary medium to traditional outdoor media and the mobility of the vehicles means that we really are able to see the brand just about everywhere we turn!” |
